Once you purchase your desired lenses, you will be given the choice of two options.

Post office drop-off (FREE):  You will receive a flat-packed box in the post within 1-2 days. Assemble the box (it’s easy don’t worry!) and place your glasses in the box wrapped in the bubblewrap provided. Your prepaid box will already have the necessary shipping label on it, so simply bring it to your nearest post office for delivery to the Lensbuild lab.

You’ll receive your glasses back equipped with their new lenses within 10 days.

Home pick-up (€5):You will receive a flat-packed box in the post within 1-2 days. Assemble the box (it’s easy don’t worry!) and place your glasses in the box wrapped in the bubblewrap provided.

Simply email us at support@lensbuild.com when the glasses are ready for collection. We will organise the pick-up.

Once the package is picked up, expect your glasses back as good as new within 2 weeks.

Once your glasses have been received by the Lensbuild.com crew, glazing will take about 3-5 working days. Shipping back to you the customer should take another 1-2 days.

Yes we do! Any type of eyewear can be rejuvenated by us at Lensbuild.com! Simply choose the “Sunglasses” option on the first page of the lens ordering process.

Each stage of the glasses’ journey is both insured and tracked. You will be able to see their progress from your house to our lab. Then will be updated with a new tracking number after they have been fixed.

Our courier service ensures that your glasses are safe; but if a very unlikely accident occurs, we will be happy to reimburse for any loss incurred.

We will be happy to reimburse you in the unlikely event that anything in broken.

When you bring your glasses to an optician for lens replacement, they are unlikely to carry this out on their premises.

What is most likely to happen is that they’ll send away your frames to a third-party lab, and you’ll end up paying both.

Opticians are likely to place large margins for acting as the middle-men. With Lensbuild.com, we eliminate the optician as the middle-man and put you directly in contact with the laboratories.

For the reasons outlined above, we’re 30% cheaper on average than your local optician. With zero difference in quality.

We also understand that time is precious. By conducting lens replacement via mail, we’re eliminating all the hassle of commuting, parking and waiting. All it takes is a few clicks or taps!

Yes.

There is an option during the checkout process to “Copy my Glasses”. By ticking this box, you do not have to enclose a prescription. We will simply mimic the lenses enclosed in your delivery to us.

Currently, Lensbuild.com operates only in Ireland. We will hopefully be expanding our services to new countries in the near future.

Provided we receive all the necessary information, we are able to fulfill 99.9% of orders, even the most complex prescription requests.

There are 3 options you can choose:

• Upload a document: We accept JPG, PDF and DOC formats.
• Copy my glasses: We will copy whatever the prescription is in the frames you provide for reglazing.
• Send later: Whenever you are ready, you can also send the prescription to us via email to support@lensbuild.com

All of our lenses are of the highest possible quality. We source our lenses from only the most renowned manufacturers across the world. If would like specific details of the brands we use for each lens type, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Furthermore, we ensure that all our labs are ISO-accredited.

We source lenses from the top global manufacturers. While we may not have the specific brand you are currently using, we will always replace your lenses with ones that are of equal or greater quality.

Our lenses are made from polycarbonate. This is material that is optically superior, shatter-proof and lighter than other materials.

All our coatings are guaranteed up to one year from time of purchase. This does not apply to cases where excessive force has been used.

Standard shipping is free within Ireland. There is an option for a home pick-up when sending your frames to us, this will come at an extra cost of €5.

If you’ve chosen post office drop-off, then take them to any local post office. In Ireland, that means An Post.

Your glasses will go on two journeys.

1/ From your home to our lab: The tracking number for this journey is located on the box. In Ireland, it’s trackable at track.anpost.ie.

2/ From our lab to your home: You will be updated with a tracking link once they leave our lab. This journey will be carried out by a private courier service.
